WHO WE ARE

KYASC BASHOLI PASHMINA ARTISANS PRODUCER COMPANY LIMITED

KYASC Basholi Pashmina Artisans Producer Company Limited is a non-governmental organization situated in the serene surroundings of Jammu & Kashmir. Committed to promoting traditional craftsmanship, empowering women, and fostering rural development, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and communities. KYASC  is dedicated to rural development, offering initiatives such as microfinance and agricultural development. Through microfinance, we provide financial services and support to individuals and small businesses, promoting entrepreneurship and financial inclusion. Our agricultural development efforts include educating farmers on modern techniques, and organic farming methods, and providing them with financial assistance to enhance productivity and improve their livelihoods.

We firmly believe in the transformative power of women’s empowerment. We understand that when women are empowered, societies flourish. We equip women with knowledge and expertise in various crafts such as pashmina manufacturing, embroidery, wickerwork, and more. Therefore, our organization is committed to creating opportunities for women to develop their skills, become economically independent, and contribute to their communities.

KYASC is proud to be at the forefront of preserving traditional craftsmanship, promoting sustainable livelihoods, and enhancing the socio-economic status of women in Jammu and Kashmir. We continue to strive towards creating a brighter future for women artisans and communities, fostering a culture of empowerment, creativity, and equality.
